We’re looking for a future-focused Digital Capability Manager to lead and deliver Harrison Grierson’s digital enablement strategy.
In this key leadership role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and progressing opportunities where digital, data, and technology can improve outcomes for our people, our clients and our business.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide clear leadership to transform how we deliver to clients and collaborate internally, guiding HG towards smarter, more connected ways of working.
Partner with HG leaders and business units to identify opportunities where data, GIS, automation, or digital tools can add value to clients and improve project delivery.
Establish a clear digital direction and roadmap, so digital effort is aligned to strategy and business priorities
Lead and develop a high-performing digital technology team to implement identified opportunities
Improve internal efficiency and effectiveness through application of technology and data.
Oversee delivery of a balanced portfolio of client-driven work and internal improvement work.
Make sure digital initiatives lead to real, visible value.
Leading change management to enable the uplift of digital capability across HG
Build strong relationships across the business to foster a culture of innovation, digital curiosity and continuous improvement.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in a related field.
15+ years’ experience in similar roles, ideally in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry.
Proven experience leading digital technology teams.
Strong understanding of modern digital technologies, including AI, automation, cloud platforms and data analytics, and how they apply to transforming service delivery and operational efficiency
Strong technical capability in digital engineering, with a strong knowledge of 3D modelling, CAD systems (including Civil 3D and 12d), and digital design standards.
Experience leading change programmes and digital transformation initiatives.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex digital concepts into user-friendly language.
