About the role
Our Land Development team in Tauranga continues to grow, and we’re on the lookout for experienced Senior Civil Design Engineers or Technicians who are keen to make an impact. If you're looking to play a key role in major projects and bring your 12D design skills to the table, we'd love to hear from you.
We have an exciting forward workload including large-scale greenfield and brownfield residential developments, infrastructure, commercial and industrial developments that shape the future of our local communities. Key responsibilities include:
- Detailed civil design using 12d Model for complex land development projects from initial concept design through to construction completion.
- Contribute to project planning, problem solving, and client updates.
- Produce detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports to support consent applications and construction.
- Guide and coach junior team members in an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Play a key role in shaping better urban development for a diverse range of public and private clients across Aotearoa.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 6-8+ years of New Zealand-based experience within similar multi-disciplinary consultancy environments.
- Proven experience in land development or infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in 12D design software.
- Knowledge of local council codes, guidelines and consenting processes.
- Personal leadership, motivation, and self-management skills.
