About the role
Ready for a new challenge in 2026? We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and digitally savvy Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
Based in our Parnell office, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping our brand’s presence, designing eye-catching content, driving social media engagement, and helping us stand out in the market. If you love getting involved with design, digital storytelling, and delivering exciting marketing campaigns, we’d love to hear from you.
As a champion of HG’s brand, your key responsibilities include:
• Create engaging marketing content and designs using Microsoft tools, web based content platforms, and Canva.
• Utilise email marketing platforms to build and send EDMs, and use engagement platforms for online forms or surveys.
• Lead the maintenance and ongoing development of all digital marketing and communication-related material including our company intranet, HG website, LinkedIn, and other social media channels.
• Manage the development of marketing and promotional material including banners, signage, flyers, brochures, and posters.
• Oversee, monitor, and update communication of activities across all online and digital platforms including HG’s website, social media accounts, video, and other channels.
• Drive the development of innovative to enhance HG’s brand.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.
• Provide support for tender and proposal preparation, ensuring marketing materials and messaging are tailored for key opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate relationships with industry bodies and HG’s participation in promotions and events.
Your skills and experience
Our ideal candidate will have:
• 3-5+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• A relevant tertiary qualification (marketing, communications, media, or similar.
• Strong design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence using social media and digital tools.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Creativity and an eye for what makes content engaging.
